Tips for better Google search results

We all use google to find what we are looking for. But are we actually good at inputting the right words to get the result we want? No of course! We are not educated on how to find, what we are looking for, faster and more efficient. There are many guild lines that will teach how to deal with Search Optimization Engines and etc. But I will give you some tips on my own, how to do that better, without much of a reading.

           

            Advices:

First of all when searching something, when you type the first letter, hold on and wait what is going to be the word suggestion by google search bar. For example if you type the letter “b”, because google is optimized for my country- Bulgaria, it will show me immediately results that are connected to Bulgaria that starts with the letter “b”. For me these are btv.bg and bgmaps.bg sites. When typing additional letters the searches will be narrowed down and you will get less word suggestions. After some time they will stop appearing and you have to type the word yourself. It does not mean that google will not find what you are looking for; it is just not optimized to find it with the word suggestions.

Also avoid using too many words in the search bar. If many words are used, google will find you many pages that contain all this words. This will make your search not successful and time-consuming.

Avoid using common words as “such”; “I”, “they” and etc., will help you find exactly what you are looking for. Also try to get the main word that you need. For example if you are wondering “Which is the best diablo character”, do no enter the entire sentence but rather the “Diablo characters” and you will get more and better results.

            Conclusions:

            Searching online is something difficult, especially if you are looking for something VERY specific like neurosurgery. The information that you will get will be scantily and you will be disappointed. Even nowadays, google is not optimized for deep searches; nevertheless it is the best thing we have got. We must learn how to use it properly and effectively.
